JUDGMENT

1. Quashing of impugned Communication of 19th April, 2018 and cancellation of examination slated on 28th April, 2018 is sought by petitioners in this petition. Copy of the Guidelines, as referred to in the Communication of 19th April, 2018, has been supplied today to petitioners’ counsel.

2. Upon hearing, I find no ground to quash impugned Communication of 19th April, 2018. So far as conducting of examination on 28th April, 2018 is concerned, it is deemed appropriate to call upon first respondent to postpone the said examination from 28th April, 2018 to a later date to 2018:DHC:2784 W.P.(C) 4338/2018 enable petitioners to effectively take the said examination.

3. At this stage, learned counsel for respondents submits that the said examination shall now be conducted on 26th May, 2018. Regarding the test pattern (Annexure P-4), learned counsel for first respondent submits that the words “Etc.” would be forthwith deleted from the test pattern.

4. Let it be so done.

5. With aforesaid directions, this petition and the applications are disposed of.
