ORDER

1. The petitioners in Grl. M.G. 2205/2018 seek quashing of FIR No.302/2017 under Sections 323/341/506/427/34 IPG, Police Station Hauz Khas. The petitioner in Grl. M.G.2208/2018 seeks quashing of CRL.M.C. 2205/2018 & Pagel CrIMC.2208/2018 2018:DHC:8451 FIR No.283/2017 under Sections 323/341/506/427 IPG, Police Station Hauz Khas. The subject FIRs are cross-FIRs.

2. It is contended that the parties are related to each other and the subject FIRs have been registered after a quarrel that took place with regardto use and enjoyment of the respective portions.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that both the parties have settled their disputes with the intervention of other family members and friends. Settlement deed dated 15.04.2018 has been executed between the parties.

4. Parties are present in person and are identified by the Investigating Officer. They submit that they have settled all their disputes. They further submit that they do not wish to press their respective complaints.

5. In view of the fact that disputes between the parties have been settled, continuation of criminal proceedings will be an exercise in fiatility and justice in the case demands that the dispute between the parties is put to an end and peace is restored; securing the ends of justice being the ultimate guiding factor. It would also be expedientto quash the subject FIRs and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom.

6. In view of the above, the petitions are allowed. FIR No.302/2017 under Sections 323/341/506/427/34 IPG, PoHce Station Hauz Khas and FIR No.283/2017 under Sections 323/341/506/427 CRL.M.C. 2205/2018 & page[2] Crl.M.C. 2208/2018 IPG, Police Station Haiiz Khas and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are accordingly quashed.
