JUDGMENT

1. For the relief claimed in this petition, a Representation (Annexure P-7) was made to second respondent-Director of Education by petitioner on 18th April, 2017. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that there is no response to the said Representation. Despite service of advance notice, none appears on behalf of second respondent-Director of Education.

2. In the facts and circumstances of the case, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition with direction to second respondent-Director of Education to effectively consider petitioner’s Representation (Annexure P-7) within a period of six weeks and if second respondent is not inclined 2018:DHC:2980 WP (C) No. 4860/2018 Page 2 to accept the said Representation, then a speaking response be given and the fate of the said Representation be known to the petitioner within a week thereafter, so that the petitioner may seek remedy as available in law, if need be.

3. The second respondent be apprised of this order forthwith to ensure its compliance.

4. With the aforesaid directions, this petition is disposed of accordingly. Copy of this order be given dasti to petitioner’s counsel.
