Accordingly,offence under Section 135 ofthe Indian Electricity Act is compounded and appellants are acquitted. Out of the amount lying deposited in this Court, ^28,00,000/- be released to the respondent no. 1 by the Registry and rest of the amount together with interest accrued thereon, if any, be released to the appellants in equal proportion. i Both the above appeals are disposed of in the above terms.
