JUDGMENT

1. Impugned order of 14th December, 2017 (Annexure P-3) inflicts penalty of downgrading petitioner to a lower post or grade consequent upon a departmental inquiry. By way of an application of 11th January, 2018 (Annexure P-22), petitioner had called upon second respondent to disclose the name and designation of appellate authority and to supply the documents, as referred to in paragraph No.3 of this application, to enable petitioner to file a proper appeal.

2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that there is no response to the said application of 11th January, 2018 (Annexure P-22). 2018:DHC:3424 W.P.(C) 5610/2018

In the facts and circumstances of this case, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition with direction to second respondent to give a speaking response to petitioner’s application of 11th January, 2018 (Annexure P-22) within a period of two weeks from today, if not already done, and convey its fate to petitioner within a week thereafter, so that petitioner may avail of the remedies as available in law.

4. With aforesaid directions, this petition and the application are disposed of. Copy of this order be given dasti to counsels for petitioner and second respondent.
