JUDGMENT

1. The petitioner seeks regular bail in FIR No. 387/2017 under Sections 376/506 of the IPC registered at Police Station GTB Enclave, Delhi.
2. The allegations against the petitioner are that the prosecutrix was a house-maid and the petitioner committed the offence of rape on her. The prosecutrix has appeared before the Trial Court and has 2018:DHC:3461 BAIL APPLN. 134/2018 deposed that she never made any complaint to the police and the statement recorded under Section 164 Cr. P.c. was on the asking of the police officials. Further in her deposition before the trial court, she has deposed that no offence was committed by the petitioner against her and she had never made any complaint against the petitioner/accused.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the prosecutrix has not supported the version of the prosecution either in the FIR or in the statement recorded under Section 164 Cr. P.C.
4. Without commenting on the merits of the case and perusal of the record shows that the petitioner has made out a case for grant of bail.
5. Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing a bail bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned trial court. The petitioner shall not do anything which may prejudice either the trial or the prosecution witnesses. The petitioner shall not leave the country without the permission of the trial court.
