Impugned order of 31st August, 2017 inflicts penalty of compulsory retirement upon petitioner.
Learned Senior counsel for petitioner submits that statutory appeal against impugned order was preferred on 29th January, 2018 and it has not been decided till date.
In the facts and circumstances of this case, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition and the application with direction to first respondent to effectively consider and decide petitioner’s appeal by a speaking order within a period of twelve weeks, if not already done, and

W.P.(C) 5655/2018 the fate of the appeal be conveyed to petitioner within two weeks thereafter, so that petitioner may avail of the remedies as available in law, if need be.
With the aforesaid directions, this petition and the application are accordingly disposed of.
A copy of this order be given dasti to counsel for both the parties.
