17.05.2018 By these petitions it is prayed that cross-FIRs may be quashed in view ofthe settlement. Details ofthe cross-FIRs are as follows :-
ORDER
1) FIR No. 373/2011 under Sections 323/452/34 IPG registered at police station Burari on the complaint of 2018:DHC:8469 (V Smt. Anguri Devi (complainant/respondent no.2 in Crl. M.C. 2645/2018 and accused/petitioner no.l in Crl. M.C.2672/2018)and 2) FIR No. 372/2011 under Sections 308/324/34 IPC registered at police station Burari on the complaint of Sh, Krishan (complainant/respondent no.2 in Crl. M.C. 2672/2018 and accused/petitioner no.2 in Crl. M.C.2645/2018). It is submitted that petitioners and private respondents are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issue which led to registration of aforesaid FIRs. With the intervention of their common family friends, petitioners and private respondents have settled their disputes amicably vide Settlement Deed dated 5^^ January, 2018. Complainants/private respondents, namely, Smt. Anguri Devi, Sh. Krishan and Ms.Rajwati are present in Court and have been identified by SI Pankaj Thakral of police station Burari. They submit that they have settled the matter of their own free will and without any undue force pressure or coercion, therefore, they have no objection in case aforesaid FIRs are quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and private respondents voluntarily, in my view, no fhiitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest ofjustice, aforesaid cross-FIRs and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Both the petitions are disposed ofin the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed ofas infructuous. Dasti. n A.K.PATHAK,J. MAY 17,2018 ga
