Sat Vir Singh v. Corporation Bank

1. For the relief claimed in this petition, a Representation (Annexure P-8) was purportedly made on 12th March, 2018 to respondent-Bank. It is submitted by petitioner’s counsel that a Grievance Form (Annexure P-9) was also sent to respondent-Bank on 24th April, 2018.

2. According to petitioner’s counsel, there is no response from respondent to petitioner’s Representation (Annexure P-8) and the Grievance Form (Annexure P-9).

3. Despite service of advance notice, there is no representation on behalf of respondent-Bank.

4. In the facts and circumstances of this case, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition with direction to respondent to consider and pass a speaking order on petitioner’s Representation (Annexure P-8) as well as the Grievance Form (Annexure P-9) within a week from today, if 2018:DHC:3535 W.P.(C) 5866/2018 not already done, and to convey its fate to petitioner within three days thereafter, so that petitioner may avail of the remedies as available in law, if need be. Till the fate of Representation (Annexure P-8) as well as the Grievance Form (Annexure P-9) is conveyed to petitioner, impugned transfer order of 9th March, 2018 (Annexure P-1) be not acted upon, if not already done.

5. Respondent-Bank be apprised of this order forthwith, to ensure its compliance.

6. With aforesaid directions, this petition and the applications are disposed of. Copy of this order be given dasti under signatures of the Court Master to counsel for petitioner.
