05.07.2018 It is the petitioner's case that certain vital aspects ofthe alleged crime have not been duly investigated or looked into by the Delhi Police and that he has made a number of representations to the Delhi Police; that a comprehensive representation dated 25.06.2018 was addressed to the
Commissioner ofPolice.
Ms. Nandita Rao, the learned Additional Standing Counsel for the
State submits that the aforesaid representation is under investigation. She assures the Courtthat since the case concerns a young child studying in class
IV, every possible aspect of the case will be looked into minutely as the
State is bound to. She submits that the security and safety ofthe citizens is
2018:DHC:9107 the paramount duty of the State and that the police force would leave no stone unturned in this regard. She further states that should the petitioner have any grievance after the investigation, it would be open for him to take recourse to legal remedies.
In view ofthe above, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not seek any further orders atthis stage.
Accordingly, the petition, alongwith pending application, stands disposed- off.
