JUDGMENT

1. None appears for the appellants.

2. All these matters were pending in the.category of 'Regulars', ordered to be taken up as per turn.

3. However, while hearing another matter, the counsel for the respondent Union of India (UOI) was requested to furnish particulars of "covered" matters pending in the category of 'Regulars'.

4. The counsel for the respondent UOI, in pursuance thereto, had furnished the particulars and the Registry was directed to list the said matters in the Cause List in the category of 'After Notice Miscellaneous Matters'. The Court Master was also directed to telephonically inform the Advocates for private parties of the matters so ordered to be listed.

5. In accordance with the said direction, all these matters were listed on 8"\ August, 2018 along with certain other matters but on which date, time did not permit the matters to be considered and the matters were adjourned to today.

6. The counsel for the respondent UOI states that Mr. Jitender Kumar, Advocate is the advocatefor the appellant/s in all these appeals and was present in this Court on 8^'^ August, 2018 and was agreeable to disposal of these appeals as covered by the order dated 16"^ December, 2014 of the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.675/2012 titled Union of India Vs. 7. The Court Master also confirms that he had telephonically informed Mr. Jitender Kumar, Advocate for the appellant/s in these appeals.

8. The counsel for respondent UOI has been separately heard in each of the appeals but it is deemed appropriate to dispose of these appeals by this common order.

The counsel for the respondent UOI'states that these matterspertain to land acquired in Village Rajapur Kalan, compensation with respect to which was determined vide Award No. 10/2004-05 and that in appeals preferred by others to f" this Court against the judgment of Reference Courtwith respect to land of others acquired vide the same Notification and award, this Court vide judgment dated 23''^ August, 2011 in LA.APP. No.266/2008 titled Jai Singh Vs. Union ofIndia andAnr. and other connected appeals enhancedthe compensation and the appeals to the Supreme Court were dismissed and the saidjudgment would be applicable to these appeals as well and the same enhancement as granted therein will be applicable to the present appeals as well.

10. Thereis no reasonnot to believe the counsel for the respondent UOI.

11. Theneed to await the counsel for theappellant/s is not felt.
