26.07.2018 After some hearing, the learned senior counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, submitted that he may be allowed to withdraw the petitions under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Cr.P.C.) and the applications filed therewith, seeking quashing of the investigation into case FIR No.147/2014, registered under Section 66 of the Information
Technology Act, 2000 ofPolice Station EOW Mandir Marg, New Delhi, the petitioners reserving their contentions set out in these petitions to be agitated at appropriate stage of consideration of charge, his request being that the interim protection against coercive steps which were granted by interim orders in these proceedings may be extended by a week so that the petitioners have the opportunity to approach the appropriate forum for further relief in that regard, . The petitions and the applications filed therewith are dismissed as withdrawn.
The interim orders against coercive steps will inure to the benefit of the petitioners for a week from now.
