After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petitions reserving the contentions set out herein as arguments on the stage of consideration of charge before the Trial Court, his ftirther request being that the petitioners may be permitted to avail of exemption from personal appearance granted during the pendency of these petitions till the question of charge has been addressed by the Trial Court. Counsel on being asked submitted that the petitioners have not yet appeared even once before the concerned court nor had applied for release on regular bail.
The petitions are dismissed as withdrawn. The contentions raised in these petitions are reserved and may be agitated before theTrial Court at the time of consideration of charge. The petitioners are directed to appear in person with their counsel on the next date fixed by the Trial Court. They would have the liberty to move appropriate application for being admitted to bail and also to apply for exemption from personal appearance, in the proceedings before the trial court at Delhi, which requests shall be considered in accordance with law.
