1. Learned counsel for the Appellants states on instructions that in view ofthe new guidelines having come into force, the Appellants do not wish to proceed with these appeals and would like to withdraw them.

2. In view of the above submission, the appeals are dismissed as withdrawn. The pending applications are also dismissed. It is, however, clarified that the withdrawal of these appeals will not affect any other right that the Appellants may have in terms of the new guidelines.
