ORDER

1. The petitioner has invoked the writ jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, impugning the order dated. 17^*^ January, 2018, passed by the Controlling Authority under the. Payment of Gratuity Act._ '. - ' -2i Learned counsel for the petitioner submits thatthe petitioner does not dispute its liability to pay, the amount of.gratuity to the respondents but W.P.(C) 7572/2018 &connectedmatters_ page 1of[2] • ' 2018:DHC:9124 presently the financial condition of the petitioner does not permit them to make payment immediately and if the school is closed it will be prejudicial to thousands.of students studying in the school.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits on instructions that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the writ petitions, with liberty to seek extension of time from the appropriate authority to make payment to the respondents under the orders impugned herein.
