The learned senior counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the captioned petitions and the applications filed therewith, the petitioners seeking liberty to raise the contentions set out in these petitions as defences at the appropriate stage of the trial before the trial court for the same to be considered and adjudicated upon.
The learned senior counsel further requests that the private petitioners, who are accused before the trial court, being located out ofDelhi, may be granted exemption from personal appearance.
The request for exemption from personal appearance may be made by appropriate applications, after counsel is formally engaged, before the trial court which shall consider the same in accordance with law and pass the appropriate orderthereupon.
The petitions and the applications filed therewith are dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for granted.
