JUDGMENT
(ORAL)

1. It is already noted, on the last date of hearing i.e. on 3rd October, 2018 that the case of the candidature of the petitioner, for regularisation as Security Supervisor, was rejected only on the ground that he did not fulfil the requirement of the Recruitment Rules, for the said post, in terms of his height.

2. Learned counsel for the respondent candidly acknowledges, today, that the petitioner does fulfil the height requirement as stipulated in the Recruitment Rules, inasmuch as his height is 5ft. 7 inch, which is the stipulated height as per the Recruitment Rules.

3. He, therefore, submits that the respondent would consider the case of the petitioner, for regularisation as Security Supervisor, in accordance with law, without treating him as debarred. 2018:DHC:6604 W.P.(C) 4644/2018

4. In view thereof, the prayers in writ petition stand satisfied.

5. In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the respondent as aforenoted, this writ petition is disposed of.

6. The respondents are directed to take a decision on the petitioner’s request for regularisation of Security Supervisor within a period of eight weeks.
