JUDGMENT

1. Upon being mentioned by respondent no.3, who is present in person, this petition is being taken up today.

2. It has been pointed out that in paragraph 13 of the Order dated 20.08.2025, there is a typographical error inasmuch as instead of ‘twelve weeks’, ‘twelve months’ has been typed.

3. The typographical error is, accordingly, corrected. Paragraph 13 of the Order dated 20.08.2025 shall now read as under:-

“13. Accordingly, we dispose of this petition by directing the petitioners to consider the case of the respondents by holding Review DPC for the vacancies that were available from the year 1999 to year 2002, that is, prior to the amendment in the recruitment rules. In case the respondents are found eligible and entitled for promotion, consequential orders in that regard shall be passed granting consequential benefits to the respondents. The entire exercise must be completed by the petitioners within a period of 12 weeks from today”.

4. This Order shall be uploaded as a corrigendum to the Order dated 20.08.2025.
