JUDGMENT
(ORAL)

1. Petitioners seek quashing of case FIR No. 533/2021 of PS Mehrauli for offence under Section 323/324/34 IPC on the ground that injured persons (respondents no. 2-5) have compromised the disputes with the petitioners.

2. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that there was quarrel between two groups leading to cross FIRs. It is further submitted that the W.P. (CRL) 272/2025 pages cross FIR of the subject FIR has already been compounded before the trial court. Learned counsel for petitioners further informed that petitioner no. 6 namely Hajji @ Harji has passed away.

3. Respondents no. 2-5 present in court with their counsel and identified by IO/ASI Mahesh Kumar accept notice. Learned APP accepts notice and submits that there is no objection to this petition.

4. I have spoken with the petitioners and respondents no. 2-5 in Hindi and it is stated by them that they have compromised the disputes. Respondents no. 2-5 submits that they do not wish to prosecute the petitioners and that cross FIR already stands settled.

5. Considering the above circumstances and having spoken with the parties, I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice not to push the parties through trial. Therefore, the petition is allowed and the FIR NO. 533/2021 of PS Mehrauli for offence under Section 323/324/34 IPC as well as proceedings arising out of the same are quashed. Pending application stands disposed of.
