(ORAL)

1. Petitioners seek quashing of case FIR No. 627/2017 of PS Bindapur for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no.2) has compromised the disputes with the petitioners.

3. I have spoken with the parties in Hindi and it is stated by them that they have resolved all matrimonial disputes amicably. It is stated by them that they have got their marriage dissolved by way of decree of divorce after return of complete stridhan to respondent no.2. Respondent no.2 categorically submits that she does not want any maintenance from petitioner no.1 for the time being. Respondent no.2 also submits that she does not wish to pursue prosecution of petitioners.

4. Having spoken with the parties, I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice not to push them through trial.

5. Therefore, the petition is allowed and accordingly FIR No. 627/2017 of PS Bindapur for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC as well as proceedings arising out of the same are quashed.
