JUDGMENT
1. Petitioner seeks quashing of case FIR No. 273/2025 of PS Anand Vihar for offence under Section 281/125(a) of BNS on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no.2) has compromised the disputes with the petitioner.
2. Respondent no.2 present in court and identified by Investigating Officer/SI Priyank Kumar accepts notice. Learned ASC accepts notice and submits that there is no serious objection to this petition. W.P.(CRL) 2708/2025 pages
3. The respondent no.2 is a practicing advocate and submits that he suffered simple injuries on account of rash and negligent driving by the petitioner. It is also submitted by respondent no.2 that for injuries suffered by him, he has agreed for settlement amount of Rs. 25,000/- and the entire amount has been received by him, so he is not interested to pursue prosecution of petitioner.
4. Having spoken with the parties, I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice not to push them through trial.
5. Therefore, the petition is allowed and FIR No. 273/2025 of PS Anand Vihar for offence under Section 281/125(a) of BNS as well as the proceedings arising out of the same are quashed.
