JUDGMENT

1. The Petitioner appears in person virtually as does the Respondent.

2. Learned Counsel for the parties submit that the parties have reached a settlement in the matter in terms of which the Petitioner has agreed to pay the Respondent Rs.2.25 lacs in 3 equal installments.

3. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions, submits that the Petitioner shall make the payments to the Respondent as per the following schedule:

(i) On 15.09.2025: Rs. 75,000/-;

(ii) On 31.12.2025: Rs. 75,000/-; and

(iii) On 28.02.2026: Rs. 75,000/-.

4. Learned Counsel for the Respondent, on instructions, from the Respondent submits that this offer is acceptable to him.

5. Learned Counsel for the parties submit that the parties shall appear C.R.P. 208/2024 before the learned Trial Court and record their statements in terms of the settlement.

6. Accordingly, the parties shall appear before the learned Trial Court on the date already fixed i.e., 15.09.2025 including to record their respective statements. The Petitioner submits that he will be carrying a bank draft for the first instalment before the learned Trial Court on that day.

7. The Petition is disposed of in view of the settlement reached between the parties. The pending Application also stands closed.
