JUDGMENT
1. Petitioners seek quashing of case FIR No. 278/2023 of PS Maidan Garhi for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no.2) has compromised the disputes with the petitioners.
2. Respondent no.2 present with her counsel and identified by IO/SI Dharam Singh accepts notice. Learned APP accepts notice and submits that State has no serious objection to this petition. CRL.M.C.6188/2025 pages
3. I have spoken with the parties in Hindi and it is submitted by them that they have resolved all matrimonial disputes amicably. It is stated by them that now all of them are living together as a happy family. Respondent no.2 specifically submits that now she has no grievance against any of the petitioners as they are treating her well. Respondent no.2 submits that she is not interested to pursue prosecution of petitioners.
4. Having spoken with the parties, I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice not to push them through trial.
5. Therefore, the petition is allowed and accordingly FIR No. 278/2023 of PS Maidan Garhi for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC as well as proceedings arising out of the same are quashed. Pending application stands disposed of.
