ORDER o/o 04.02.2019 Itis submitted thatpetitioners Smt.Sonia Manchanda,Mr.Prince and
2019:DHC:7636 Mr.Yogesh Sachdeva are relatives ofrespondent nos.2(a)to 2(e),namely, Smt. Asha Soni, Smt. Manju Arora, Mr. Ashok Manchanda,Mr.Rajkumar
Manchanda and Smt.Megha Sehgal. It is further submitted that respondent nos. 2(a) to 2(e) are the legal heirs of Late Smt. Kaushalya. FIR NO. 1792/2014 under Sections 308/323/427/34 IPG was registered at police station Mangol Puri on the complaint ofLate Smt. Kaushaly^against the petitioners.
On the complaintofSmt.Sonia Manchanda(respondent no.2in Crl.
M.C. no. 612/2018), a cross FIR No. 1793/2014 under Sections
323/354/452/427/506/509/34 IPG was registered at police station Mangol
Puri against Smt. Manju Arora and Shri Naveen Arora. It is further submitted that above named persons have now settled their disputes amicably in orderto maintain harmoniousrelationsinfuture.
Legal heirs ofLate Smt. Kaushalya, namely, Smt. Asha Soni, Smt. Manju Arora, Mr. Ashok Manchanda, Mr. Rajkumar Manchanda, Smt. Megha Sehgal and Smt. Sonia Manchanda are present in Gourt and have been identified by SI AmitKaraofpolice station MangolPuri. They submit that they have settled the matter with petitioners oftheir own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. They say thatthey have no objection in case aforesaid cross FIRs and consequent proceedings i emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioners. Affidavits ofthe above named personsto this effect are also on record.
Keeping in mindthe settlementarrived at betweenthe petitioners and private respondents voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the
0^ interest of justice, aforesaid cross FIRs and consequent proceedings
'"0 emanatingtherefrom are quashed.
Both the petitions are disposed ofin the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed ofasinfructuous. Dasti.
