ORDER

1. Issue notice. Notice is accepted by the learned APP on behalfofthe State.

2. Learned counselforthe petitionersubmittedthatthe only prayer in all these petitions is that the Trial Court may be directedto expeditethe trial,which is pending since 2012.

3. There is no doubt that the litigants, including the petitioner, have a right of expeditious trial. The courts are 2019:DHC:7529 boundto dispose ofthe matter atthe earliest.

4. The Trial Court is directed to expedite the proceedings and dispose of the matters at the earliest and a report be submitted by the Trial Court to this Court regarding the progress m the aforesaid cases after a year and ifthe aforesaid cases remain pending even after a year, then after every six monthsthereafter.Accordingly,thepetitionsare disposed of.
