01.05.2019 The petitioners are aggrieved by rejection oftheir claimsfor allotment ofan alternate plot ofland as part ofthe extantscheme ofcompensation for acquisition oftheir lands. The learned counsel for the respondentstates that the petitioners did not supply requisite documents in support of their applications, despite repeated reminders to them on various dates, culminating in a Public Notice being published in a daily newspaper on
29.07.2017. the respondent states that in most similar cases, documents which are sought to be relied upon by the petitioners were supplied after their cases had been rejected.
Be that as it may, insofar as the petitioners' claim that they had already supplied the requisite documents earlier in time,and the same were not considered by the respondent,these writ petitions be considered by the
2019:DHC:7588 5~ respondent as the petitioners' representation. A decision thereon shall be taken within six weeks from today and the same shall be communicated to the petitioners by 30.06.2019.
The petitions stand disposed-offin the above terms.
