JUDGMENT

1. The only prayer in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to decide an undated representation submitted by the petitioner in June 2024 and annexed as Annexure P-1 to the writ petition.

2. Mr. Siddhartha Shankar Ray, learned Counsel for the respondents undertakes that a decision on the representation would be taken by way of a reasoned and speaking order within a period of four weeks from today. W.P.(C) 14073/2025

3. As and when the order is passed, it should be communicated to the petitioner forthwith.

4. Needless to say, if the petitioner remains aggrieved by the decision on the representation, his rights in law would remain reserved.

5. The petition is, accordingly, allowed in the aforesaid terms.
