JUDGMENT
1. Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks direction thereby quashing FIR No. 153/14 dated 09.03.2014, registered at PS Nihal Vihar for the offences punishable under Sections 323,341,354,427,452 and 34 of IPC and all other proceedings emanating therefrom.
2. Notice issued.
3. Notice is accepted by learned APP for the State and respondent no.2 who is present in person.
4. With the consent of the counsel for the parties, the present petition is 2019:DHC:4765 taken up for final disposal.
5. The present petition is filed on the ground that the parties have settled their disputes amicably and the respondent no.2 has no objection if the present petition is allowed.
6. Respondent no.2 is personally present in Court and she has been identified by SI Ramesh Kumar submits that matter has been settled and she does not wish to prosecute the matter any further.
7. The petitioners and respondent no.2 have entered into an amicable settlement before Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi vide settlement deed dated 02.11.2018 and settled all their disputes.
8. Taking into account the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to quash the concerned FIR as no useful purpose would be served in prosecuting the petitioners any further.
9. For the reasons afore-recorded, the FIR No. 153/14 dated 09.03.2014 registered at Police Station, Nihal Vihar instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 323,341,354,427,452 and 34 of IPC of the IPC and consequent proceedings therefrom are quashed.
10. The petition is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
