19.09.2019 Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the main
J challenge in these writ petitions is about the delegation of powers by the National Council for Teacher Education to Quality Council of
India. It is also stated that the assessment by the Quality Council of
India is being withdrawn.
Hence, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that nothing is now left to be decided in these writ petitions. Nonetheless, it is submitted that liberty may be reserved with these petitioners to approach this Court, in case they are aggrieved by the actions of the respondents.
Learned counsel for the respondents submitted that detailed counter-affidavit has been filed wherein it is mentioned that the delegation of powers to the Quality Council of India is now being withdrawn and the respondents will act as per the report of Justice J.S.
Verma Committee.
"n In view of the above observations, these writ petitions are disposed of.
In case these petitioners are aggrieved by the actions taken by the respondents, they are at liberty to challenge the same before this
Court.
Interim reliefgranted,ifany,stands vacated.
