LPA 641/2019 & CM APPL.43721/2019 (Stay)

1. Before the learned counsel appearing for the appellant (original petitioner in W.P.(C) 10439/2019) argues in detail, it is fairly submitted by counsel for respondents No.1 to 4 and 6 that the license issued to the 2019:DHC:5050-DB LPA 641/2019 respondent No.7 is already cancelled because of the law and order problem as envisaged by these respondents for holding Ramleela and Dussehra functions between 29th September to 8th October, 2019 at the place mentioned in this appeal. Hence, the very purpose for which the writ petition and this LPA have been filed does not survive.

2. In future if any application is being preferred by this appellant to the respondents for grant of permission/license for holding Ramleela, the same will be considered in accordance with law on its own merits without being influenced by the order dated 25.09.2019 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.(C) 10439/2019 and the order passed today by this Court in this appeal.

3. With the aforesaid observations, this Letters Patent Appeal is disposed of. CM APPL.43704/2019

4. In view of the final order passed in LPA 641/2019, this application stands disposed of.
