JUDGMENT
(ORAL)

1. Vide the present petition, the petitioners seek directions thereby quashing the FIR No. 224/2010 registered at Police Station – Uttam Nagar and its consequential proceedings.

2. On the last date of hearing i.e. 26.09.2019, the petitioner paid an amount of ₹10,000/- in cash to the complainant, who was present in Court alongwith her father – Mr. Faghfur Ali.

3. On the said date, the petitioner had agreed to pay an amount of ₹20,000/- on the next date of hearing. Vide order dated 26.09.2019, complainant who was present on that day stated that her father will come on 2019:DHC:5212 CRL.M.C.4233/2019 the next date of hearing and receive the amount of ₹20,000/- on her behalf. She further stated that she has no objection if the present petition is allowed thereafter.

4. The said amount of ₹20,000/- has been paid today in cash to the father of the complainant.

5. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the parties, I hereby quash the 224/2010 registered at Police Station – Uttam Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating thereto.

6. The petition is allowed accordingly.
