Vide the present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.
367/2014 registered at P.S. Dabri under Section 354B/509/34 IPC and consequent proceedings arising therefrom.
Notice issued.
Notice is accepted by learned APP for the State and the respondent no.2 who is present in Court.
With the consent of the parties, the present petition is taken up for final disposal.
The facts in brief are that the petitioner No.1 is brother-in-law (elder

Vide the present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.
367/2014 registered at P.S. Dabri under Section 354B/509/34 IPC and consequent proceedings arising therefrom.
Notice issued.
Notice is accepted by learned APP for the State and the respondent no.2 who is present in Court.
With the consent of the parties, the present petition is taken up for final disposal.
The facts in brief are that the petitioner No.1 is brother-in-law (elder

CRL.M.C. 5302/2019 jeth) of respondent No. 2 and petitioner No. 3 is the brother-in-law (younger jeth) of respondent No.2 whereas petitioner No.2 is the son of brother-in-law
(jeth) of the respondent No.2. The complainant / respondent no.2 lodged the
FIR No. 367/2014, under sections 354B/509/34 IPC, P.S. Dabri against the petitioners with the allegations of assault or use of criminal force on woman with intent to disrobe and to insult the modesty of woman.
The petitioners and respondent no.2 with the intervention of their well wishers and relatives have settled all their disputes amicably and in terms of the settlement, the complainant / respondent No.2 has agreed not to pursue the said FIR.
The complainant is present in person has been identified by SI Rattan
Singh of Police Station Dabri and submits that matter has been settled and she does not wish to prosecute the matter any further.
Taking into account the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to quash the concerned FIR as no useful purpose would be served in prosecuting the petitioners any further.
For the reasons afore-recorded, the FIR No. 367/2014, under sections
354B/509/34 IPC, P.S. Dabri and consequent proceedings are quashed.
The petition is allowed accordingly.
