JUDGMENT
Allowed, subject to all just exceptions.
Application stands disposed of.
1. This writ petition (Public Interest Litigation) has been preferred with the following prayers: “i. Pass directions to the Respondents to ensure the automatic audio announcement and display digital facility with regard to the upcoming bus stoppage, opening and closing of doors, and other safety guidelines likewise announced in the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. 2019:DHC:5598-DB ii. Pass directions to the Respondents to ensure the affixation of the map route of buses inside the wall of it and the proper medical first aid facilities be kept in each DTC and cluster buses. iii. Pass any other directions/ order/ guidelines as this Hon'ble court deems fit and necessary in the interest of justice and equity.”
2. This petition has been preferred without approaching the respondents. Moreover, it appears that this petitioner is in search of automatic audio announcement and display digital facility with regard to the upcoming bus stoppage, opening and closing of doors etc. similar to the facilities available with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. Regarding such type of prayers, before filing this writ petition, a representation should have been made by the petitioner before the respondents. Even otherwise also, such type of prayers cannot be granted because it all depends on the expertise of the respondents as to whether such type of facilities can be added/incorporated in the existing buses. Moreover, this also involves a policy decision to be taken by the respondents.
3. Hence, we see no reason to entertain this writ petition. Nonetheless, we direct respondents to treat this writ petition as a representation, look into the prayers of the petitioner in this writ petition and act in accordance with law.
4. With these observations, this writ petition is hereby disposed of.
