JUDGMENT

1. Counsel appearing for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition with a view to prefer an appeal against the impugned order dated 4th May, 2018 passed by the Deputy Commissioner, North- West District, New Delhi in accordance with the provisions of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens (Amendment) Rules, 2016. Permission, as prayed for, is granted. This writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn without entering into the merits of the case. As and when such appeal is preferred by the petitioners, the same will be decided by the Appellate Authority constituted under the aforementioned rules in accordance with law and on the basis of the evidence on record. 2019:DHC:5593-DB W.P.(C) 1222/2019 CM APPL. 19483/2019 (vacation) In view of the order passed in the writ petition, this civil miscellaneous application is disposed of.
