Quashing of FIR No. 301/2018, under Sections 420/406/120B IPC, registered at police station Vasant Vihar, Delhi is sought on the basis of
Memorandum of Understanding of 30th August, 2018 reached between the parties.
Notice.
Mr. G.M. Farooqui, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1/State accepts notice and submits that respondent No.2 is

W.P.(CRL) 3340/2019 2 present in the Court and he has been duly identified to be the complainant of FIR in question on the basis of identity proof furnished by him.
Respondent No.2, present in the Court, submits that the dispute between the parties has been amicably resolved in terms of Memorandum of Understanding of 30th August, 2018 and terms thereof have been fully acted upon, as today he has received final installment of settled amount of
Rs.10,00,000/- by way of demand draft bearing No. 010472, dated 17th October, 2019, drawn on HDFC Bank, and that now, no grievance against petitioners survives and so, the FIR in question and proceedings emanating therefrom be quashed.
Since the subject matter of the FIR in question stands mutually and amicably resolved between the parties, no useful purpose would be served in continuation of proceedings arising out of FIR in question.
In view of the above, FIR No. 301/2018, under Sections
420/406/120B IPC, registered at police station Vasant Vihar, Delhi and the proceedings emanating therefrom, are hereby quashed qua petitioners.
This petition and application stand disposed of accordingly.
