These petitions have been filed by the petitioners under Section
29(A)(4) of the Act seeking extension oftime for the Arbitral Tribunal to complete the proceedings and render the Award by a period oftwo years and six months.
According to the learned counsel for the petitioners the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal in terms ofthe Act had expired on July 23,2018 and for the period thereafter the respondent was before the NCLT Bangalore. At this stage, the learned counsel forthe parties states, henceforth the period for the Arbitral Tribunal to complete the proceedings and render the award be extended by a period ofone year.
Noting the submission made by the counsel forthe parties,I am ofthe view that the period of one year from today shall be sufficient enough for the Arbitral Tribunalto complete the proceedings and renderthe award. It is ordered accordingly.
The petitions are disposed of.
