JUDGMENT
1. This Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been preferred with the following prayers: “(i) issue an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing inquiry into the recruitment process pursuant to the advertisement dated 09.08.2014 2019:DHC:6726-DB (Vacancy No.14081310109) relating to the post of Asst. Drug Controller;
(ii) issue an appropriate writ, order or direction to quash the illegal appointments for being in contravention of the requisite experience criteria and the illegal appointments based on fabricated and fake experience certificates which is violation of Article 14 and Article 16 of the Constitution of India; and
(iii) Pass such other/further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.”
2. Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that suffice it will be for the disposal of the present writ petition if suitable a direction may be issued to the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 19th September, 2019 preferred by the petitioner, which is Annexure P-10 to the memo of the writ petition.
3. Having heard counsel for the respondents and looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, we hereby direct the respondent no. 1 to decide the representation dated 19th September, 2019, which is Annexure P-10, in accordance with rules, regulations and Government policy applicable to the facts of the case, as expeditiously as possible and practicable.
4. With these observations, this writ petition is hereby disposed of.
