JUDGMENT
1. This Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been preferred with the following prayers: “i. Issue appropriate writ of Quo-Warranto to quash the appointment of Respondent No 4 to the post of Chairperson, Delhi Judicial Academy. 2020:DHC:133-DB W.P.(C) 3700/2019 ii. Issue appropriate writ/order/directions, directing the Respondent No. 4 to vacate the office of the Chairperson, Delhi Judicial Academy. iii. Issue an order as to costs involved in the matter in hand. iv. Issue an order for investigation into the administration of the Delhi Judicial Academy. v. pass any other/further order/relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case in favour of the Petitioner and against the respondents in the interest of Justice.”
2. Having heard learned counsel for both the sides and looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, it appears that Respondent No. 4 has already tendered his resignation, which has been accepted by Delhi High Court, and the said resignation has been made effective w.e.f. 25th December, 2019.
3. Thus, in view of these facts & circumstances, we see no reason to entertain this writ petition.
4. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
