JUDGMENT

1. The petitioner/defendant has filed this petition for directions to the trial court to expedite hearing in the subject suit.

2. Learned counsel for petitioner has taken me through record. It is contended that earlier also petitioner had filed a similar petition, which was allowed to be withdrawn vide order dated 09.09.2025 of this Court, granting liberty to the petitioner to move a formal application before the trial court for expeditious disposal of the suit. Accordingly, the petitioner filed application Annexure-P20 before the trial court explaining the circumstances and requesting for expeditious disposal of the suit. The said application was filed on 27.09.2025 but the learned trial court posted that st=Delhi, CM(M) 1957/2025 pages application to 20.12.2025 for consideration.

3. In the above backdrop, learned counsel for petitioner submits that even his application for expeditious disposal has been posted to such a long date for consideration only.

4. In view of the above record, the present petition and the accompanying application are disposed of directing the learned trial court to decide the said application dated 12.09.2025 of the present petitioner within 10 working days from today.

5. Copy of this order be sent to learned trial court forthwith.
