31.01.2020 Respondent appearing in person has handed over to Mr. Sanjay Jain, Director ofthe petitioner,present in the Court,two Demand Drafts drawn in favour ofthe petitioner-Company for a total sum ofRs.3 lakhs. One draft is for a sum of rupees two lakhs drawn on Central Bank of India dated
10.01.2020 and the other draft is for a sum of rupees one lakh drawn on
UCO Bank dated 13.01.2020. It comes to be stated by the respondent that the said paymentis made towards full and final satisfaction ofall the claims of the petitioner against him under the settlement arrived at before the learned M.M.- 02, North, Delhi. He also states that under the amicable settlement arrived at amongst the parties, a total sum of Rs.36 lakhs has come to be paid to the petitioner and nothing remains due and payable by the respondentto the petitioner. Mr.S.C.Jain,Id.counsel appearing forthe
2020:DHC:3959 petitioner,on instructions,concedes to that effect.
The dispute amongst the parties was off shoot of a commercial transaction and taking note ofthe amicable settlement arrived at amongstthe parties,the contemptproceedings are disposed of.
