JUDGMENT

1. None appears for the petitioners.

2. The petitioners have filed the present petitions,inter alia,praying that they have been harassed by Uttar Pradesh Police at their residential address.

3. Mr Tanvir Khan,petitioner in W.P.(C)no. 2111/2019 was a witness 2020:DHC:3894 to a mamage between Shivangi Agnihotri and one Kashif Raza on 12.07.2019. Apparently,the father ofMs Shivangi Agnihotri had lodged a complaintin Hardoi and consequently,an FIR No.486/2019 under Sections 354D/364/379/506 IPG was registered with Police Station Kotwali,District Hardoi, U.P. A status report has been filed, which indicates that the U.P. Police had visited the residence of Tanvir Khan in connection to make enquiries with the said FIR with the assistance ofDelhi Police.

4. The petitionerin W.P.(Crl.)2112/2019isthelandlord ofthepremises occupied by TanvirIChan and inquiries were also madefrom him.It is stated that although the Uttar Pradesh Police had made inquiries, they had not harassed either ofthe two petitioners.

5. In view of the status report filed, this Court does not consider it apposite to pass any orders except to direct the concemed SHO to ensure that the petitioners are not harassed by any person, including officials of Uttar Pradesh Police.It is so directed.

6. The petitions are disposed of.
