1. This Public Interest Litigation has been preferred with the following prayers: “(a) Issue appropriate direction(s), order(s) or writ in the nature of mandamus thereby directing the Respondent(s) take cognizance and speedily investigate the allegations made in the complaint dated 24.01.2019 filed by the Petitioner and take consequential action in accordance with law; (b) This Hon'ble Court Monitor the investigation / progress of the case; 2020:DHC:926-DB W.P.(C) 3056/2019

(c) Pass any other order / directions deemed fit in the facts and circumstances of the present case.”

2. Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that suffice it would be for disposal of this writ petition if a suitable direction is given to the concerned respondents to conduct speedy investigation of shell companies at Bahamas as per averments made in the memo of this writ petition. Thus, we hereby direct the respondent No.1 to investigate into the allegations as mentioned in this writ petition for which otherwise also investigation is going on and the same shall be completed as early as possible and practicable in accordance with law.

3. With these observations, this writ petition stands disposed of.
