JUDGMENT
(ORAL)

1. Vide the present petition, petitioners, namely Smt. Krishna Khanna and Sh. Ranjit Khanna @ Ranjit Singh, seek direction thereby for quashing of FIR No. 374/2013 dated 2.7.2013 registered at Police Station – Rajouri Garden, Delhi and all other proceedings emanating therefrom.

2. Notice issued.

3. Notice is accepted by learned APP for State and by counsel for 2020:DHC:1048 respondent no.2.

4. With the consent of counsel for parties, the present petition is taken up for final disposal.

5. The present petition is filed on the ground that parties have settled their disputes and respondent No. 2 has no objection if present petition is allowed.

6. Respondent No. 2 is personally present in Court with her learned counsel and she has been identified by SI Ajay Kumar (IO) and submits that matter has been settled and she does not wish to prosecute the matter any further.

7. Petitioners and respondent no.2 have entered into an amicable settlement.

8. Learned counsel for petitioners prays that present petition may be allowed.

9. Taking into account aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to quash FIR as no useful purpose would be served in prosecuting petitioners any further.

10. For the reasons afore-recorded, the FIR No. 374/2013 dated 2.7.2013 registered at Police Station Rajouri Garden, Delhi and all other proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

11. The petition is, accordingly, allowed and disposed of. Dasti.
