Quashing of FIR No. 1354/2015, under Sections 498A/406/34
IPC, registered at police station Tilak Nagar, Delhi is sought on the ground that the matrimonial dispute stands amicably settled between the
2020:DHC:1098 W.P.(Crl.) 464/2020 parties vide Compromise Deed dated 20th March, 2017 and petitioner No.-1/husband and respondent No.2/wife are living together happily for last two years.
Respondent No.2, present in Court, submits that the dispute with the petitioners has been amicably resolved and she is happily and peacefully living with petitioner no.1/husband and therefore, the FIR in question and proceedings emanating therefrom be quashed.
Petitioner No.1/ husband and respondent No.2/wife are present in
Court and they have been duly identified by Investigating Officer of this case.
In view of the fact that respondent No.2, who is the complainant of
FIR in question, is happily living with petitioner No.1/husband, FIR No.
1354/2015, under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC, registered at police station
Tilak Nagar, Delhi and proceedings emanating therefrom, are hereby quashed qua petitioners.
The petition alongwith pending application is disposed of accordingly.
