JUDGMENT

1. Issue notice.

2. The learned counsel named above accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. At joint request, the petition is taken up for disposal.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that fifteen petitioners have not received their salaries for the months of December and January and their payment for the month of February would be due at the end of the month. 2020:DHC:1225 CONT.CAS(C) 1015/2019

5. Mr. Inderbir Singh Alag, the learned Senior Advocate for the management/school states that the school has been burdened with the 6th Pay Commission enhancement and presently their revenue generation is lesser than their financial liabilities. He states that the management are in the process of generating the funds and a fair quantum is expected at the time of the new academic year in April. He states, upon instructions, that for the months of December, the monies shall be paid by the end of this month and for the month of January, the monies shall be paid in two installments i.e. 50% by 15.03.2020 and 50% by 31.03.2020.

6. The payment for the month of February shall be paid at the due date.

7. The learned counsel for the respondent assures the Court that the monies shall be duly paid. His assurance is accepted.

8. The petition is disposed-off in the above terms.
