1. This petition seeks release of the petitioner on parole for three months on the ground of his marriage, which is stated to be scheduled for 28th February, 2020.

2. Status report has been filed by the SHO, P.S. Sarita Vihar, to the effect that, on verification at the address of the petitioner, the neighbours stated that they were unaware of any marriage of petitioner proposed to be fixed on 28th February, 2020. No document evidencing the possibility of petitioner getting married is available. The status report further states that Ms. Pooja D/o Shri Ram Aasre, who, according to documents filed by the petitioner, is his prospective bride, is already married and is the mother of two year old son. Ms. Pooja, on being questioned, denied the fact that her marriage with petitioner was ever scheduled for 28th February, 2020. She also stated that the marriage card, filed by the petitioner, was fabricated. 2020:DHC:1338 WP (Crl.) 438/2020
