Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that suffice it would be for disposal of this writ petition if the concerned respondent authority is given a direction to treat this writ petition as representation and decide the claim of the petitioners as narrated in the 2020:DHC:1512-DB memo of this writ petition and in its annexures.

2. Accordingly, we hereby direct the respondent to treat this writ petition as representation and decide the claim of the petitioners in view of paras 13 and 25 of the memo of this writ petition in accordance with law, rules, regulations and Government policy applicable to the facts of the present case within a period of 16 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3. With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition is hereby disposed of. CM APPL.8672/2020 (Stay)

4. In view of the final order passed in W.P.(C) 2487/2020, the application stands disposed of as infructuous.
