2. Insumandsubstance,theDelhiSubordinateServicesSelectionBoard issued an advertisement No.04/2017 on 20" December. 2017. inviting applications for selection ofcandidates for various posts including for the post of Domestic Science Teacher (Post Code No.92/2017). The qualification stipulated for the subject post were(i)Bachelor's Degree m Domestic Science/Home Science from a recognised university and institute and; (ii) Bachelor's Degree in Education with Domestic Science/Home Science as a teaching subject.

3. Admittedly,the petitioner obtained^degree ofBaehelor of Seience from Maharishi Dayanand University,,Rohtak in the year 2013. It is the petitioner'scasethatshefulfilledthe^^alffic^ionsrequiredforappointment tothesaidpostowingtothecjrci;iM|l;|^^^ ^B^^elorsof Science degree she studied WifesMlfas a sulyect at Maharishi Dayanand University,Rohtaksuccessfullyinthe.^ear2016.Inotherwords, it is urged on behalf of the petitioher that in view of the additional qualificationsobtained byherinthe year2016as aforestatedshefulfilsthe qualificationsstipulatedforthesaid post.

Wefind ourselves unable to agree with the contention canvassed on behalfofthe petitioner for the reason that the additional credit m Home Page2of[3] W.P.[C)2672/2020 Science,so to speak,obtained by the petitioner ftom Maharishi Dayanand University,Rohtakintheyear2016,didnotadmittedlyresultintheawardof aBachelor degree in Home Science.

5. Consequently, the petitioner's qualification remains that of being a Bachelor of Science graduate and not a Bachelor s degree in Domestic Science/Home Science, as stipulated and required as the requisite qualificationtobeconsideredfortheadvertised post.
