Proceedings of the matter have been conducted through video conferencing.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/petitioners in person submitted that in view of the latest development of the fact that now the
Hon’ble Lt. Governor of NCT of Delhi has already issued order dated 8th June, 2020 containing the direction regarding carrying out tests for asymptomatic patients, these writ petitions are not pressed at this stage.
In view of this limited submission, these writ petitions are disposed of as not pressed at this stage. It is expected from the Government of NCT of
Delhi that the directions issued by the Hon’ble Lt. Governor of NCT of
Delhi given in the said order dated 8th June, 2020, as implemented by the order of the same date issued by the Principal Secretary (Health & FW), GNCTD, shall be complied with and followed scrupulously with regard to the tests to be carried out for the asymptomatic patients/persons.
