JUDGMENT
NEERAJ ALIAS NAGAR ….. Petitioner

1. The hearing was conducted through video conferencing.
2. Petitioner seeks parole for a period of one month for the purposes of filing a Special Leave Petition impugning the final judgment dated 14.11.2019 passed in Crl. Appeal No.88/2019.
3. Petitioner was convicted under Section 326 IPC and sentenced to undergo 8 years rigorous imprisonment. On an appeal filed by the State being Crl. Appeal No. 700/2019, the conviction has been converted from Section 326 IPC to Section 304 IPC and the sentence has been enhanced to maximum imprisonment for 10 years under 2020:DHC:2394 W.P(Crl) 620/2020 Page 2 Section 304 IPC.
4. Status Report has been received from the jail authority which indicates that the overall jail conduct of the petitioner for last two years has been satisfactory and the last punishment awarded to the petitioner for violation of the prison rules was on 27.07.2018.
5. Since the petitioner has not suffered any punishment and there is no complaint against the petitioner for his jail conduct for the last two years immediately preceding today, on petitioner furnishing a bail bond in the sum of Rs. 15,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Superintendent Jail petitioner is granted parole till 31.08.2020. Petitioner shall surrender to the concerned Superintendent Jail on 31.08.2020.
6. Petition is allowed in the above terms.
